"Endeleo" is Swahili meaning new dawn, growth, progress, or improvement.
The Seeds of Change Award is presented in recognition of the outstanding achievements of women who are selflessly making a positive impact in their communities. These women foster consistent awareness, courageous dialogue, purposeful action, and direct improvement in areas including women's entrepreneurship and employment, domestic violence prevention, children and education, health and wellness, environmental stewardship, philanthropy and volunteerism.

ANDREA JOHNSON
Andrea Johnson a/k/a A Philly Princess is a Native Philadelphian and the Founder/CEO of GIRL U CAN DO IT, INC., a non-profit community based organization that provides comprehensive health and awareness education and prevention services for disadvantaged youths, young adults and families.
In July, 2007, Ms. Johnson took an HIV test after she discovered her partner’s affair and learned that he had infected her with HIV. Not knowing where to turn or what to do, Ms. Johnson was determined NOT to remain silent while other women, especially Women of Color, continued to become highly infected and affected with HIV/AIDS. Since learning her diagnosis she has spoken in Washington and various other places on various occasions thereafter advocating for youths, women and communities infected and affected with HIV. Long before her HIV positive diagnosis and still continuing long after her HIV positive diagnosis, Ms. Johnson was and continues to be a community and youth advocate and activist. She self funds various educational activities for the youths she serves as well as many of her young adults have gone to and graduated from college or other occupational career choices.
Ms. Johnson is a passionate activist, advocate, educator and community organizing member, whose main goals are to encourage and empower our youths and young adults to become of successes of tomorrow and help in ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic in America as well as abroad. Certified in adult and youth counseling, HIV and domestic violence prevention, she is also the organizer and spokeswoman for GIRL U CAN DO IT, INC.’s national initiative B’Cause I Care About U, Is Why U Should Get Tested 4 HIV. She is the Chief Editor of the 5300 Block of Chancellor Street Newsletter, and a member of various organizations that fight for the rights of youths and women, namely women of color. She remains closely allied with faith-based and domestic violence organizations, schools, colleges, prisons, homeless shelters and various social/community groups where she shares her life experiences, teaches prevention and empowers persons to be the best SELF they can be.

Reverend Carla Riley is originally from Trenton NJ where she was born and raise up until 1976, when her family moved to Willingboro NJ. Reverend Riley now resides in Mt. Laurel NJ. Reverend Riley is a blessed widow of 51/2 yrs. and the mother of three grown children, Ryan, and a set of twins Sharlyse and Sean and is the Founder/Sr. Pastor of ( Freedom Reigns In This Place Church of the Living God) in Mt. Laurel NJ. Reverend Riley is a Radio Personality/HOST of her own Christian Radio Talk Show: “AN ARRAY OF HOPE!”, her radio name is C.T. Riley she airs every Sat. 2:30pm-4pm on WiFi 1460am/ online streaming www.wifiam1460.com sharing the hope of God encouraging people from all walks of life not to give up, all is not lost!
Reverend Riley is also the Founder/CEO of An Array of Hope a New Jersey Non-profit organization.
